Before You Book
What is Beauty Worx?
Beauty Worx is a premium day spa and beauty clinic based in Ashburton, New Zealand. We specialise in a wide range of treatments including brows and lashes, skin treatments, relaxation massage, spray tanning, IPL, nails, and spa packages. We are a women’s spa — a calm, professional environment where you can switch off and be looked after from the moment you arrive.

We are based in Ashburton, New Zealand. Our full address and contact details are available on our Contact page. We recommend confirming your appointment location when you book.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — all appointments at Beauty Worx are by booking only. We do not accept walk-ins. Booking in advance ensures your preferred time and therapist are available, and allows us to prepare for your treatment. You can book online anytime at our booking page.
How do I book my first appointment?

Your First Visit
What should I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you arrive, our focus is on making you feel welcome and at ease. You will be greeted by your therapist, taken through a brief consultation to understand your needs and any relevant health information, and then your treatment will begin. We take the time to tailor every treatment to you — your first visit is never rushed.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your appointment time. This gives you a moment to settle in, complete any new client paperwork, and relax before your treatment begins. Arriving late may reduce your treatment time, as we have other clients booked after you.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you are comfortable in. For massage and body treatments, you will be provided with appropriate draping and your therapist will guide you. For skin and brow treatments, it is helpful to arrive with minimal makeup so we can assess your skin or brows clearly.
Do I need to fill in any forms?
New clients are asked to complete a brief health and consent form before their first treatment. This helps us tailor your treatment safely and effectively. Please allow a few extra minutes for this on your first visit.
Is Beauty Worx for women only?
Yes — Beauty Worx is a women’s day spa. Our treatments, environment, and team are designed specifically for women. We welcome clients of all ages.
Bookings, Cancellations & Payments
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows affect our small team significantly. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. Our full cancellation policy is available at the time of booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by cash, Ruralco, EFTPOS, and credit card & after pay. Payment is taken at the time of your appointment.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes — gift vouchers are available for all treatments and packages. They make a wonderful gift for any occasion. Contact us at hello@beautyworx.co.nz to arrange a gift voucher.
