Brow Treatments
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a treatment that restructures your brow hairs to keep them in a set, lifted shape. It gives the appearance of fuller, more defined brows without the need for daily styling. Results last 6β8 weeks.
What is the difference between brow tinting and brow lamination?
Brow tinting adds colour to your brow hairs to make them appear darker and more defined. Brow lamination reshapes and sets the direction of your hairs for a fuller, brushed-up look. The two treatments are often combined for the best result.
How long does a brow shape and tint last?
A brow tint typically lasts 3β4 weeks depending on your skin type and aftercare. We recommend booking every 4 weeks to keep your brows looking their best.
Can I get brow lamination if I have sparse brows?
Yes β brow lamination works well for sparse brows as it lifts and fans out the hairs you have, creating the illusion of greater fullness. We can also recommend a tint to enhance colour at the same time.
What is HD Brows?
HD Brows is a professional brow treatment that combines multiple techniques in one appointment β including tinting, waxing, threading, and tweezing β to create a fully customised brow shape tailored to your face. It uses a specialist colour formula to tint both the skin and the hairs for a more defined, makeup-like finish. HD Brows is ideal if you want a precise, sculpted brow with lasting colour and shape.
What is the difference between HD Brows and brow lamination?
HD Brows focuses on shaping and colouring the brow using a combination of techniques for a defined, structured look. Brow lamination focuses on restructuring and setting the direction of your brow hairs for a fuller, brushed-up effect. The two treatments complement each other well and can be discussed with your therapist at the time of booking.
How should I prepare for my brow appointment?
Please arrive with clean brows β free of makeup, oils, and serums. Avoid exfoliating the brow area for 24 hours before your appointment. If you have had any recent skin treatments in the brow area, please let us know when booking.
What is the aftercare for brow lamination?
For the first 24 hours after brow lamination, keep your brows dry and avoid steam, saunas, and sweating. Do not apply makeup or skincare products directly to the brow area. After 24 hours, you can brush and style your brows as normal. We recommend using a nourishing brow serum to keep the hairs healthy between appointments.
Lash Treatments
What is Eyes the Worx?
Eyes the Worx is our signature lash and brow treatment package β your traditional eye trio β designed to give you a complete eye transformation in one appointment. It combines our most popular eye treatments for a polished, defined look with minimal effort on your part. Ask us at the time of booking about what is included and which combination suits your goals best.
What is a Korean Lash Lift?
A Korean Lash Lift is an advanced lash lifting technique originating from South Korea. Unlike a traditional lash lift, the Korean method uses a smaller, more precise rod placement to create a straighter, more dramatic lift from the very root of the lash β giving the appearance of significantly longer, more open lashes. The result is a natural yet striking look that suits all eye shapes. Results last 6β8 weeks.
What is an LVL Lash Lift?
LVL stands for Length, Volume, and Lift. It is a professional lash treatment that straightens the lashes at the root and lifts them upward, making them appear longer and fuller. A tint is applied at the same time to add depth and definition. LVL is a well-established lash lift system known for its consistent, reliable results.
What is the difference between a Korean Lash Lift and an LVL Lash Lift?
Both treatments lift and curl your natural lashes, but there are some key differences:
- Korean Lash Lift β uses a smaller rod and a more precise technique to create a straighter, more dramatic lift from the root. Ideal if you want a bold, wide-eyed look. The lashes sit more upright rather than curled.
- LVL Lash Lift β creates a classic curl and lift with a softer, more natural finish. A great option if you want defined lashes without a dramatic effect.
Not sure which is right for you? Our therapists will assess your natural lashes and recommend the best option at your appointment.
What is a standard lash lift?
A lash lift curls and lifts your natural lashes from the base, giving the appearance of longer, more open eyes β without extensions. It is a low-maintenance alternative to lash extensions and results last 6β8 weeks.
Can I get a lash tint with my lash lift?
Yes β we recommend combining a lash tint with your lash lift for the best result. The tint darkens your lashes so they look defined and full without mascara.
How long does a lash lift take?
A lash lift takes approximately 45β60 minutes. When combined with a tint, allow around 60β75 minutes for your appointment.
What is the aftercare for a lash lift?
For the first 24 hours after your lash lift, keep your lashes dry and avoid steam, swimming, and rubbing your eyes. Do not use oil-based products around the eye area. After 24 hours, you can apply mascara and eye makeup as normal. Avoid waterproof mascara as it can be harsh on lifted lashes.
Why doesnβt Beauty Worx offer lash extensions?
This is a question we are asked from time to time, and we want to be transparent about our decision.
Lash extensions require a highly consistent, long-term relationship between client and therapist β infills every 2β3 weeks with the same technician produces the best results. In a small business environment where staff changes are a reality, we cannot guarantee that continuity for every client, and we are not willing to compromise your experience.
We have also seen the market flooded with operators using low-grade adhesives and synthetic lashes sourced cheaply, often applied without adequate training. The result is lash damage, allergic reactions, and disappointing results β and clients who come to us to have the damage repaired. Ask us about removal (yes we do this) and Lash Botox.
Our focus is on treatments we can deliver to a consistently high standard, every time, regardless of who is in the treatment room. Our lash lift options β Korean Lash Lift, LVL, and Eyes the Worx β deliver beautiful, lasting results using professional-grade products, without the risks associated with extensions. We believe that is a better outcome for your lashes long-term.
Are lash and brow treatments safe during pregnancy?
We recommend consulting with your midwife before booking any chemical treatments during pregnancy. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can advise you on the most suitable options.
