Use of Botox in the upper face:

The effect lasts for about three to four months and about three to four treatments are required each year. Administering BOTOX injection in the glabeller and the four head region leads to decrease in intensity and frequency of tension headaches and migranes. Intense research is being carried out in the area to evaluate the role of BOTOX in the medical management for these headaches.

Botox is a prescription Medicine containing 100 units of botulinum toxin Type A for injection. It is used for the treatment of frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet.
